COVID-19 Community Update:
The Volusia County Positivity rate for March 14 to March 20, 2021 is 6.86%
- We have 0 residents positive for COVID-19 in isolation
- We have 0 residents that are hospitalized related to COVID-19
- We currently have 0 residents in quarantine
- We have had 0 residents pass away due to COVID-19 since our last update
- We currently have 2 employees that have tested positive
- We currently have 0 employees potentially exposed to COVID-19 in quarantine/on leave
While 97.9% of our residents have been vaccinated for COVID-19, please continue to protect yourself and others by avoiding close contact with people who are sick, wash your hands frequently with soap and water, clean and disinfect touched objects and surfaces using regular household cleaning spray or disinfecting wipe and wear your mask when in public areas around other people.

Easter Reservations for Bay & S.H. Cranes Dining Rooms will begin on March 29th in the Tree Top Lounge at 10 a.m. A drop box will be provided for each venue with sign up slips. Please submit one slip per party, first come, first serve. You will need to add each person in your party to the list. Residents will be called on March 30th and 31st throughout the day with confirmation of your reservation. Please note: there will not be an employee taking reservations. You will not need to wait in line. Seating times are:
- Bay: 11 a.m. ~ 1 p.m. ~ 3 p.m.
- S.H. Cranes: 12 p.m. ~ 2 p.m. ~ 4 p.m.
Tee times are still available for the Employee Appreciation Fund Masters Golf Putting Tournament on April 8. Reserve your spot today! Spectator seating will be available to come watch your friends compete. Current open tee times are 9:18, 9:24, 9:36, 9:48, 10:24, 10:48, 10:54 and 11:18.
It’s not too late to participate in the JKV Photo Contest. Deadline for contest 1, “The Beauty of the Outdoors” is 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2021. Entry forms can be downloaded from the home page of the resident portal.
The library has officially been relocated to the Barker Center. The library can be accessed from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? The new library is looking for volunteers to assist in processing returned books. Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Contact Candace at ext. 1203 for more information.
