On December 6, the residents of John Knox Village of Central Florida hosted their fifth annual Holly Jolly Christmas Dinner to mark the end of their donation period for Christmas gifts for the children of Orange City Elementary School.

This year, $2,800 in cash, as well as items of clothing, sneakers and school uniforms were collected by the residents in the weeks leading up to the dinner.

The donations were presented to Mr. Charles Bynum, Principal, and faculty representatives from Orange City Elementary School who were in attendance at the dinner. Mr. Bynum shared with the resident attendees how their gifts help to support a more positive learning experience for the children.

Guests of this year’s Holly Jolly were entertained by resident, Phyllis Dale, who played piano and sang traditional Christmas Carols.
